Maddie Pohlman: 2015 Canal Days Queen
Maddie is the daughter of Paul and Donna Pohlman and recently graduated with the class of 2016 from Delphos St. John's High School. As a Blue Jay, Maddie was an active member of the Varsity volleyball and basketball teams, Mission Society, and CRESPI Society. She was also involved in the church as an alter server, Eucharistic minister, and greeter. Maddie is currently in her first year at The Ohio State University, where she is planning to pursue a degree in Medican Dietetics. Maddie would like to thank the Canal Days Pageant Committee for helping her grow in leadership, confidence, and discover her true self. She would also like to wish good luck to each of this year's beautiful contestants!
Reese Merschman: 2015 Little Miss Canal Days
Reese is the daughter of Andrew and Jessica Merschman and is 6 years old, preparing to start Kindergarten at Franklin Elementary in the fall. Her favorite hobbies include swimming, camping, boating, and jumping on her trampoline. Reese loves cheering on her Wildcats, especially her older brothers! Mom says that she is a total princess and that being chosen as Little Miss Canal Days has made her feel extra special and even better about herself!
Kyrstin Moore: 2015 Junior Miss Canal Days
Kyrstin is the daughter of Steve and Lesley Moore and is 10 years old, preparing to begin the 5th grade at Landeck Elementary. She is very active in sports, including basketball, softball, soccer, gymnastics, and dance. Kyrstin also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Being Junior Miss Canal Days, was a great opportunity for her to be a role model and prove you can do anything you put your mind to. She also feels that it gave her the confidence to overcome a small speech impediment and gave her the courage to succeed. Kyrstin loves fashion, but her favorite shirt says “You can do all things through Christ,” and that is what she tries to live by.
